Inter-generational Dialogue on Peacebuilding
· November 2 2019, organised an Intergenerational Dialogue in Bamenda where youths and elderly persons brainstormed on the way forward for sustainable peace in a conflict stricken community. There are extraordinary young people creatively seeking ways to prevent violence and consolidate peace. These young people need to complement the effort and wisdom of the older people in the quest for sustainable peace. Peace can only be possible when the young and the old work together. It is for this reason that BeLA brought together 50 youths and the elderly persons, to talk about the ongoing crisis turned armed conflict in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon and seek ways to end violence and reaching sustainable peace.
