UNFPA Training on GBVIMS
From the 26 - 28 November 2020 in Douala, Cameroon, BeLA alongside other NGOs was trained by #UNFPA in a three day workshop on #GBVIMS, a Gender Based Violence information management system internationally accepted as a tool for GBV data collection and sharing.
We were drilled on how to use #GBVIMS to safely collect, store, analyze and share data related to the reported incidents of GBV.
Knowledge on ethical and safety standards in reporting GBV, as well as understanding of GBV data and survivor centered approach to GBV data collection are very vital in #GBVIMS.
Despite the humanitarian crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic which continue to expose women to #GBV , BeLA remains committed to fighting Gender based violence especially the North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
